The 9th anniversary of the organization “We are the Children of Ullapara (AUSH)” was celebrated in various arrangements in Ullapara Upazila of Sirajganj.
In this context, on Saturday evening, a memorial was unveiled on the H Imam’s stage in the municipal city, scholarships were awarded to 80 art students, auto-rickshaws were given to the disabled, and a friendly cultural program was held.
Before that, a discussion meeting was held under the chairmanship of the organization’s president, Engineer Abdul Rahman. The speakers at the discussion meeting were Bir Muktijoddha Shafiqul Islam, Chairman of the Ullapara Upazila Parishad, Upazila Executive Officer Md. Ujjal Hossain, President of the Upazila Awami League Faisal Kader Rumi, Literary Freedom Fighter Ishak Khan, General Editor of the Upazila Awami League Bir Muktijoddha Golam Mostafa, former Chairman of the Ullapara Upazila Parishad Jahedul Haque, Awami League leader Selina Mirza Mukti, and Chief of the Bangamata Cultural Front Nabi Neowaz Khan Binu.
